Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ProDispute, operated by Critical Entity Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ProDispute.
1. What ProDispute is and is not
ProDispute is a document generation service. We help you prepare formal dispute correspondence by searching publicly available legislation and drafting letters based on information you provide.
We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or regulated legal services. Nothing on ProDispute constitutes legal advice. You are responsible for deciding whether to send any correspondence and for the accuracy of facts you provide.
You should seek independent legal advice for complex matters, including criminal law, family law, immigration, employment tribunal claims, medical negligence, active court proceedings, and other specialist areas. ProDispute may decline or refer such matters.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- One free letter per account may be available subject to our current pricing terms.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information about your dispute.
- Review any generated letter carefully before sending it.
- Use ProDispute only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
- Not misuse the service (including attempting to bypass payment, rate limits, or security).
- Not upload unlawful, offensive, or third-party material you do not have rights to use.
4. Assessment and letters
Our chat assessment evaluates whether formal correspondence may be appropriate. We may conclude that no viable case exists, or that specialist legal advice is required. In those cases, we will not offer paid letter generation for that matter.
Generated letters cite legislation identified during your session. You acknowledge that legal outcomes depend on many factors beyond correspondence, and we do not guarantee any particular result.
5. Pricing and payment
Current pricing is displayed on our website and at checkout. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorise the applicable charge. Subscription plans renew monthly until cancelled in accordance with Stripe's subscription management.
Refunds are handled at our discretion except where required by applicable consumer law. Contact legal@prodispute.com for billing enquiries.
6. Intellectual property
We retain rights in the ProDispute platform, branding, and underlying technology. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a licence to process your content solely to provide the service.
Letters generated for you are provided for your use in connection with your dispute. You may not resell or commercially exploit the ProDispute service itself.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use ProDispute to:
- Harass, defraud, or threaten others.
- Generate false, misleading, or knowingly meritless correspondence.
- Interfere with or disrupt our systems.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or automate access beyond normal use.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Critical Entity Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of ProDispute.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
9. Disclaimer
ProDispute is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will achieve any particular outcome.
10. Privacy
Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Referrals
Where we signpost you to third-party legal resources or solicitors, we do not endorse any particular provider. ProDispute may in future receive referral fees from partner law firms; this does not affect the advice given in assessment outcomes.
12. Changes and termination
We may modify these Terms or the service. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. You may stop using ProDispute at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach or operational reasons.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.
